Rückblick auf das German-Israel Medical Devices Annual Forum

Im Lindner Congress Hotel fand am 5. Februar 2014 in Düsseldorf das German-Israel Medical Devices Annual Forum statt. 16 israelische Firmen präsentierten ihre innovativen Lösungen und Produkte dem interessierten Fachpublikum.

Die CEOs der veranstaltenden Firmen NGN-Europe SE (Andreas Rades) und MIW (David Hava) begrüßten die israelischen und deutschen Gäste und wiesen auf die starke Innovationskraft der israelischen Unternehmen hin. Medizinische Innovationen führen entweder zu höheren Behandlungserfolgen oder Kosteneinsparungen. Beides ist auch im deutschen und europäischen Gesundheitsmarkt gewünscht.

Im Anschluss an eine kurze Vorstellungsrunde der israelischen Aussteller nahmen die deustchen Gäste gerne die Möglichkeit zu persönlichen Gesprächen war, um über gemeinsame Projekte und Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit zu sprechen.

The Medi-tate solution offers patients relief from BPH symptoms, fast. Currently available in Europe, the device is placed in the prostatic urethra for only 5-days. While in place, it pushes obstructive tissue to the side and the prostate is reshaped to create a long-terms therapeutic effect.

The device can be deployed in any clinical setting that has standard rigid cystoscopy equipment. The deployment procedure is intuitive and does not require a post-procedure catheter. Once the device is deployed, the patient is free to return to normal activities immediately.

TIND remains in position for 5 days. When deployed in the prostatic urethra, the device clears obstructive tissue by exerting pressure on prostate tissue from the inside, clearing the urethral path and enabling improved urination immediately following the procedure.
